FAQs
What types of absorbent materials do you offer?
We offer a range of absorbent cores including fluff pulp, super absorbent polymers (SAP), and cellulose-based blends — each tailored to your specific product’s needs.
Can you help me choose the right pad?
Absolutely. We will work with you to identify the right absorption level, format, and features for your protein or produce type.
Do I need a different pad for a foam tray vs a PET tray?
Yes. Because purge sits differently in a foam tray vs a PET tray, TiteDri developed solutions that maximum absorption and product freshness.
How much liquid can the pads absorb?
Absorption varies by pad type and size. We can recommend or customize a pad based on the average exudate your product releases under storage conditions.
Are the pads breathable or moisture-locking?
We offer both options. Pads can be designed for high moisture retention or to allow for controlled humidity — especially important for produce freshness.
Can I get customized sizes?
Yes. We manufacture pads in standard and custom sizes, individually cut, or roll formats to fit your packaging needs.
Can I customize the color of the pad?
Yes. We manufacture pads in standard and custom colors.
Are your pads safe for direct food contact?
Yes. Our food-contact pads comply with FDA and EU regulations (including EC No. 1935/2004) and are manufactured under GMP and SQF-certified processes.
Do your pads contain any chemicals that could affect flavor or odor?
No. Our food-grade pads are inert, odorless, and free from any materials that could compromise taste or quality.
Can I receive documentation for compliance?
Yes. We can provide declarations of compliance, certificates, and technical data sheets upon request.
What are your minimum order quantities (MOQs)?
MOQs vary depending on the pad type and location, but we offer flexible runs and can advise on the most cost-effective volume for your needs.
How are the pads packaged and shipped?
Pads can be shipped in bags and boxes, rolls, or gaylords — optimized for your packing line.
What is the typical lead time?
Standard lead time is 4–6 weeks, depending on order size and customization.
Can I test the pads before ordering?
Yes. We offer samples and can even prototype custom solutions for your product.
